Catoá is in the Campo Alegre area, in the municipality of Paranã, Tocantins, close to the Prata and Ouro Fino routes. It is a long trip, on a dirt road, with a walk of approximately six kilometers in total.
Access requires planning with a suitable vehicle and a local guide. A 4x4 may be needed both in the rainy season and on difficult stretches in the dry season; the season does not guarantee passage. Dona Maria Odeci’s simple lodging is a possible support option; check availability before setting out.
