On the Rio dos Couros, Cachoeira São Bento has a drop of about five meters and a wide pool. The indicated walk is approximately four hundred meters from the entrance. Access may be sold separately from the other attractions, depending on how the property is organized.

The site has hosted water polo competitions, traditionally associated with September. Whether the event continues, and its date, need to be checked each year. Outside that schedule, people come here to swim and relax.

Getting there by car

Entrance right by GO-239, with the waterfall near the farm headquarters. There's no need to cover the whole internal route to the Almécegas; the walk starts after you park.
