The dry and rainy seasons change the landscape, the volume of the rivers and the outings available.

As a general reference, May to September is the dry season; November to April, the rainy season; October is a transition period. The change of season varies from year to year.
In the dry season, some pools become clearer and certain traverses become possible. Seasonal waterfalls may have little water. With the rains, the landscape turns greener and temporary waterfalls appear, but traverses and swimming may be suspended.
An image of clear skies at the site does not rule out rain at the headwaters. Confirm visiting conditions with the operator and respect closures.
