Almécegas II has a smaller fall, approximately six meters high, reached by a short walk of around three hundred meters. The surrounding rock slabs make a place to linger by the water, with relatively easy access compared with Almécegas I.

Depth, submerged obstacles and swimming permissions vary. Avoid jumping from the rocks. Use only the areas open for swimming.

Hiring a guide is mandatory for Almécegas II via the Aldeia access, which is separate from the usual Fazenda São Bento entrance.

Prices and bookings

Confirm the price and what is included when booking.

The historical range helps compare outings; it is not the current rate and does not necessarily include a guide or transportation.

Getting there by car

Access shares the internal dirt roads of Fazenda São Bento. Low-clearance cars call for care and depend on the road's condition.

The route

Approximately 300 m.

Guiding

A guide is mandatory via the Aldeia Multiétnica access. The usual entrance through Fazenda São Bento has its own rules; confirm your chosen access when booking.

Precautions on site

Jumps of about three meters are recorded as something visitors do, not as a recommendation: depth, submerged obstacles and permissions change. Use only the areas open for swimming.

Visitor recordings on Wikiloc help you get to know the route and its stops. Measurements are approximate and belong to the recorded track; elevation gain adds up the climbs or descents. Difficulty is the author’s own rating and may differ from the guide’s classification. Check current conditions with the attraction’s operator.
